Maxnerva to Showcase at the 2026 Semiconductor × AI Applications Forum
——July 31, 2026
On July 29, 2026, the 2026 Semiconductor × AI Application Forum, co-hosted by Ennoconn and the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMF), was successfully held at Google’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. This industry event brought together Google Cloud, Intel, Arm, Foxconn Technology Group, Kontron, MIC, Nera Telecommunications, Fanxuan System Technology, and Ruiqi Dian Tong, among other leading domestic and international enterprises in the fields of semiconductors, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and green energy. The Taipei Representative Office in Singapore was also invited as a supporting organization. The forum featured in-depth discussions on six cutting-edge core topics—physical AI, edge computing, smart semiconductor factories, green energy management and control, and industrial cybersecurity—and established a high-level exchange platform for the integration and innovation of the Southeast Asian semiconductor industry and AI technology.
The semiconductor industry in Southeast Asia is currently experiencing a period of rapid expansion. Local wafer fabrication and packaging and testing facilities are being established at an accelerated pace, and demand for digitalization and automation continues to surge. How to leverage AI, industrial robots, and digital twin technologies to address pain points such as insufficient production line flexibility, quality inspection errors, and inefficient equipment maintenance has become a core issue of concern across the entire industry. This forum is precisely aligned with industry trends, featuring a diverse program of keynote speeches, signing ceremonies, networking breaks, and roundtable discussions. The full-day agenda covers the entire industry chain—from underlying chip computing power and edge AI development to the implementation of smart factories and green, low-carbon management—attracting technical leaders and senior executives from over a hundred Southeast Asian semiconductor manufacturing companies to attend and exchange ideas.
As a global leader in the smart manufacturing sector, Hon Hai Technology Group was invited to make a high-profile appearance at this industry event. Maxnerva, a professional digital smart manufacturing service provider under Hon Hai’s Foxconn, showcased the Hon Hai Group’s full-stack AI + industrial robotics smart manufacturing solution at the event. The solution focuses on the flexible, high-variety, small-batch production scenarios typical of semiconductor factories. It highlights the practical applications of humanoid robots, industrial robotic arm clusters, and the AI Agent intelligent scheduling system in processes such as wafer handling, precision assembly, AI vision-based quality inspection, and production line fault prediction. It provides a one-stop digital factory upgrade and implementation solution for semiconductor companies operating in Southeast Asia and those expanding overseas.
During the keynote session, Shi Chunhao, COO of Maxnerva, drew on Foxconn’s more than 30 years of deep expertise in global manufacturing and numerous practical implementation cases at semiconductor facilities both domestically and internationally to provide an in-depth analysis of the integration and implementation pathways for artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, multi-axis industrial robotic arms, and precision semiconductor production lines. The presentation provided a detailed analysis of the challenges involved in implementing key technologies such as physical AI, digital twin production lines, edge-based intelligent quality inspection, end-to-end quality traceability, and the reuse of AI capabilities across facilities. It elaborated on how AI robotics systems can help semiconductor factories effectively reduce production defect rates, shorten new product introduction (NPI) cycles, and digitize and globally replicate production expertise across facilities.
During the forum session, Maxnerva COO Shi Chunhao engaged in in-depth, face-to-face discussions with executives from leading companies such as Google Cloud, Intel, and Arm, as well as local manufacturing industry experts from Southeast Asia. Participants exchanged views on industry hot topics, including the practical challenges of smart transformation in Southeast Asian semiconductor factories, unified scheduling solutions for multi-brand industrial robots, AI-powered intelligent operations and maintenance on factory premises, ESG energy consumption management for green smart manufacturing, and industrial data security. Drawing on Maxnerva’s hands-on experience across its global facilities, the discussion yielded industry development recommendations that are both practical and forward-looking.
The Singapore Semiconductor × AI Applications Forum has broken down barriers to exchange between Southeast Asia’s semiconductor industry and global AI-driven smart manufacturing technology resources. Moving forward, Yunzhihui Technology will leverage the insights gained from this forum as a key opportunity to continue deepening its focus on core smart manufacturing sectors such as AI and robotics. The company will provide end-to-end flexible smart manufacturing systems to Southeast Asian enterprises expanding overseas, and will continue to support the global manufacturing industry in achieving high-quality upgrades through digitalization, automation, and intelligent transformation.
